I went to Koboko, North-West Uganda to see one of our volunteers who works at an organization, WENDWOA; West Nile Disadvantaged Women & Orphans Association. She works there for 6 months. She is popular among people in Koboko. The photo shows her and her room-mate.

Hello. I’m Ayami, a student volunteer. I’m in charge of Tuesday. We had the curtural festival meeting as usual. We are writing the comments of the meeting every time. One of Japanese volunteers wrote that a German volunteer make him turn out that it’s meanigless to separete and talk in each group during the meeting. It’s interesting for me because Japanese sometimes have such time. From the time to prepare, we are exchanging each culture.

We usually have a meeting once a week to share how the practices of last month were. It is very important for players to share what they think and feel about baseball. And it keeps their motivation.

Margret, a oversea  candinate and Mika, a Japanese volunteer were discussing on some of the programs for the cultural festival which takes place on 3rd December 2011. This festival is being prepared by a lot of discussions and our cooperation with the different cultures and countries. It’s one of the good sides of the cultural festival for us.
