Christmas Party for Primary students

On 19th December 2012, 150 children were invited for a Christmas party. This was the first Christmas party children have ever had at the rain bow house. They had a lot of fun with inflatable ballons, musical chairs, fun box, face-painting and a stage which they used for modeling, sing and dancing competitions, singing accompanied by Christmas music.

The purpose of the party was for children to have fun and interact with each other in a bigger group than usual. And also enable them to have a special moment together like other children who are not orphans.

Children also had chance to cut a Christmas cake and danced together with the acting director of Ashinaga Uganda, Shihoko Numa. All activities were organized well, Father Christmas (Santa Claus) gave out presents to the best participants.

Mr. Sam Karuhanga the coordinator of Ashinaga Uganda requested one child to give a speech and thank Ashinaga-sans for the tremendous work they do to support Ashinaga Uganda activities including this party.

Zawadde Beatrice, on behalf of other children thanked Ashinaga Uganda for organizing such a wonderful party. And she wished to have this party every year.
