ASHINAGA UGANDA

Education For the Future

*

3 months report from the 9th group of Japanese student volunteers (3)

Many Japanese students have a vague idea that they want or should go abroad. For me, I made a step forward to come to Uganda. I felt warmth in relationships among family members through home-stay, which Japanese community is lacking. Through visiting secondary schools, I got to know a difference in education system between Japan and Uganda. Since what I know is only Japanese education system, this experience has made me think what the best way for education is. This kind of questions only rises when we are abroad, and I firmly believe that I will gain a life experience through my time in Uganda.
