ASHINAGA UGANDA

Education For the Future

*

3 months report from the 9th group of Japanese student volunteers (1)

I am going to start volunteering in a town, which is 9 hours away from Kampala, capital city of Uganda. I want to do something different from other students. I am going to work for widows and orphans in Koboko where there is no electricity or running water. I don’t know what I can do for them yet, but I will try to do my best through home visits and other activities. Environment in Koboko is tough, but I have promised myself that I will struggle to seek for answers to solve problems which people face in Koboko. It is my wish that many children gain hope for their future.
